Kirstenbosch visit - 29 July 2015

Jacqui and I spent a few hours wandering around Kirstenbosch Gardens yesterday. Such a beautiful place with the added bonus of Tuesdays being free entry for senior citizens.

A new Kirstenbosch Photographic competition has been launched recently. Details can be found here: http://botsoc-kirstenbosch.org.za/competition/.  Always worth a shot!

Here are some of the images from the trip yesterday. Clicking on the images brings up the large files.

    1. Don't recognise the "FM" - but I take it that's you, Frances? Thanks for the comment - I got some better shots this time round! Hope you are all keeping well.

  2. Rob, great photos as usual. For what it's worth in my opinion the flower on the top right (no good at plant names ) could resemble the SA flag if the green of the stem could be brought up somewhat

  3. Hi Daniel - thanks friend! And interesting comments on the colours - unfortunately there's not enough colour in the shadow areas (always a problem when the sun is backlighting the subject) to bring out the greens without making it look unrealistic.
